A 5-day journey through the soul of Northeast India — from misty hill stations to root bridges grown by hand over generations.
Day 1 – Guwahati Arrival & Transfer to Shillong
Arrive at Guwahati airport. Scenic 3.5-hour drive to Shillong, the Scotland of the East. Evening at Police Bazaar & Ward’s Lake.
Day 2 – Cherrapunji Day Tour
Drive to Cherrapunji — visit Nohkalikai Falls (India’s tallest plunge waterfall), Mawsmai Limestone Cave, Arwah Cave, and the Seven Sisters Falls viewpoint.
Day 3 – Living Root Bridge Trek (Nongriat)
Trek down to Nongriat village to see the famous Double Decker Living Root Bridge — woven over 200 years from rubber tree roots. Optional swim in the natural pools.
Day 4 – Mawlynnong & Dawki
Visit Mawlynnong (Asia’s cleanest village), climb the bamboo Sky View, then onward to Dawki for a boat ride on the crystal-clear Umngot River. Return to Shillong.
Day 5 – Departure
Morning at leisure. Drive back to Guwahati airport for departure.
